The vitrified straight grinding wheels belong to the most numerous group of general purpose and specialized abrasive tools.

Usually, they are used for precision grinding on various materials in grinding operations such as tool sharpening, surface grinding, centre-type and centreless cylindrical grinding, internal grin¬ding, profile grinding as well as for workshop works and rough grinding.
